The Vintage Collection

The flower images in the Vintage Collection—like those in my Radiant Collection—are individual floral portraits. With the Vintage Collection images, I’ve presented a selection of what I love most about portrait photography: recognizing the essence and lure of the seemingly “imperfect”.

In a culture that often prizes qualities of youth, symmetry, and gloss, the images in the Vintage Collection reflect my exploration of deeper beauty and character. Through these irregular, fading, and desaturated flower portraits, I want to celebrate more sophisticated ideas of physical appeal: that which is ever subtly changing but always evident—if we just take the time to look closely. 

The Vintage Collection includes highly textural and evocative images, some of which are my personal favorites. I hope they help you look at aging in a new light.
